Vintage Conn Double French Horn finds it's way to South Texas country Shop. All the way from Central Mexico Precision settings are required to reset broken Leadpipe. Leadpipe was bent when knocked off instrument of course. Due to the age and delicate condition of this instrument, extreme controlled hand techniques were required to reshape-redesign pieces back to professional playing standards.
Bell dents removed using hand burnishing techniques.
Rotors aligned, long and short bearings sweded and refit back
to the closest allowable tolerance. Hand lapping to allow
smooth and quieter rotor action.
Remount Leadpipe-reset and Precision reset-reshape
Braces and mounting braces.
